How did Jeff Bezos make his first million?
Jeff Bezos made his first million through Amazon, which he founded in 1994 first as an online bookstore, running it out of his garage in Seattle. Jeff eventually made Amazon, an everything store from just a book store.
In 1997, Amazon went public with its IPO on May 15, 1997, at $18 per share. The IPO quickly turned Bezos into a millionaire, thanks to his significant ownership in the company. His strategy of reinvesting profits back into Amazon’s growth paid off enormously, eventually transforming Amazon from a modest online bookstore into one of the world’s largest and most influential retailers.
